Robert Earl Grubbs

A memorial service for Robert Earl Grubbs, 80, of Wells, Texas will be Wednesday November 4th, 2026 at 6pm at Forest Baptist Church. The family will host a coffee and cake visitation the same day from 5-6pm also at the church. 

Mr. Grubbs passed away Sunday November 1st, 2026 in Wells, Texas. He was born September 7th, 1946 in Lufkin, Texas to John Robert and Mamie Marie Emerson Grubbs. He was a lifetime resident of Wells and a member of Forest Baptist Church. He served in the US Army. He was also a past member of Wells Masonic Lodge.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and first wife Nell Rose Grubbs.

He is survived by is wife Daisy Grubbs of Wells; daughters and sons-in-law Jill and Wendell Smith of Forest and Shere and James Harper of Lufkin; 4 sisters; and grandchildren Kaitlin Smith, Caroline and Carson Tomson, Lanny David and Bethany Antley, and Citori Antley
