If there was a season for it, he was hunting it or fishing for it! He loved anything and everything to do with the outdoors! He loved the Lord and he loved his family beyond words! He was an avid fisherman and loved to tell the big fish stories although his big fish stories were usually true… It could be saltwater fishing for trout or sharks or freshwater fishing for bass, perch or running a trot line for catfish, he loved it all! He was an excellent fisherman that wanted to share the experience with everyone. If you were blessed enough to be on a fishing adventure with him, you knew his love and knowledge of the sport. He also loved to deer and duck hunt and never missed an opportunity to do so! He absolutely loved the thrill of the entire hunt from getting things ready before the season started to still going to the deer stand just to watch the wildlife after he’d got his big deer for the year. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him!
