Dicky Gresham, 72, of Cushing, Texas, passed away on May 12, 2026, in Cushing surrounded by loved ones.

Visitation will be held from 6:00–8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Dickie Allen Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026. Burial will follow at McKnight Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Dickie Allen Funeral Home.

Dicky was born in Nacogdoches, Texas, to Louise and Harold Gresham on July 6, 1953. He attended school in Cushing, where he met the love of his life, Joan. Dicky later took over his father's company, H&D Cattle, where his two sons, Brandon and Tyler, soon followed in his footsteps.

He was always up before everyone else with a game plan in mind, working long hours to provide for the family he loved so dearly. He was never seen without his genuine smile, which will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Dicky was preceded in death by his father, Harold Gresham; mother, Louise Gresham; brother, Ronnie Gresham; and son, Brandon Gresham.

Dicky is survived by his wife, Joan Gresham; children, Tyler & Brandi Gresham and Candi Procell; sister, Robin Stewart; lifelong friend, Mike Nichols; grandchildren, Claire McIntyre, Lauren Johnson, Mia Taylor, Clayton Gresham, Camille Gresham, Tristan Henson, Brayden Spire, Rylan Gresham, Layken Gresham, Easton Gloyna, Colt Procell, Sladen Gresham, Hudson Gresham, Laiyson Gresham, and Cayle Crawford;  great-grandchildren, Bryson McIntyre, Aliyah McIntyre, Elijah McIntyre, and Emmylou Johnson.
