A graveside funeral service for Raymond Edward Bennett, 72, of Jacksonville will be Friday, July 29, at 10 AM at the Weches Cemetery in the Weches community west of Alto with Rev. David Moore officiating. Mr. Bennett passed away Saturday, July 23 in Jacksonville. He was born February 9, 1950 in Alto, Texas to John Raymond Bennett and Callie Mae Overall Bennett. Raymond Lived in Alto for many years and had lived in Jacksonville for the last few years. Raymond was Baptist and was preceded in death by his parents and by a sister Lottie Rangel. He is survived by his wife Sarah Bennett of Jacksonville, daughter Mary Beth Bennett of Jacksonville, sisters Irene Graham of Jacksonville, Johnnie Williams (Tony) of Tecula, Lilly Ray (Bobby Ray) od Tecula, Marie Voss of Jacksonville, Eula Mae Melendez (Leo) of Athens, Sarah Nell Long of Athens and Carolyn Spencer (Jimmy) of Troup and a grandson Dyllon.
