Nelwyn Ann Rawlinson, 80, of Cushing, passed away on July 29, 2023 in Dayton, Texas. A graveside service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday August 5, 2023 at McKnight Cemetery with Rev. Ennis Fuller of Eastside UPC, officiating. Nelwyn is under the care of Dickie Allen Funeral Home, Cushing, TX. Nelwyn Ann Rawlinson was born in Cushing, TX to Thurman Lee and Beatrice Bass on February 28, 1943. She married Troy Rawlinson on June 1, 1957 in Cushing, TX. She worked as a homemaker, dedicating her life to her husband and family. She was involved in many community activities such as 42 and bible studies. Nelwyn is preceded in death by her parents,Thurman Lee and Beatrice Bass, her husband, Troy Rawlinson, her daughter Cindy Jones, and her son James Rawlinson. Nelwyn is survived by her daughter and son in law, Debbie and Steve Johnson, her grandson and wife Douglas and Kyla Hicks, granddaughter and husband Jessica and Marty Wheeler, grandson and wife, Derek and Nastasya Johnson, grandson and wife, Justin and Courtney Johnson, granddaughter and husband, Kisha and John Garthwait, granddaughter, Darah Johnson, and many great grandsons and great granddaughters who loved her dearly. Pallbearers will be Douglas Hicks, Kale Hicks, Steve Johnson, Justin Johnson, Derek Johnson, and Carl Johnson.
