Funeral services for Murray D. Beckham, 85, of Cushing will be Saturday, December 30, at 2PM at the Dickie Allen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Snelson officiating.  Mr. Beckham passed away Thursday, December 28 in Cushing. He was born September 7, 1938 in Reklaw, Texas to Ralph Martin Beckham and Vaneita Dalby Beckham. Murray was raised in Reklaw and had lived most of his life in Cushing. Murray was a longtime member of the Cushing Lions Club and had also served as mayor of Cushing. He owned and operated Beckham Hardware in Cushing since 1979 and had worked as a director, embalmer and managing director at Dickie Allen Funeral Home for over 40 years. Murray was a member of the Landmark Baptist Church in Cushing. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Tommy Beckham and David Beckham and sister Joy Buckner. Murray is survived by wife Nancy Beckham of Cushing, son Jimmy Beckham of Cushing and his daughter Kirby Beckham, daughter Cheri Williams and husband Duane of Cushing and their children Lane Williams and Kelly Matlock and her husband Hilton, sister Pat Penney and husband Paul of Reklaw and great grandchildren Hallie Matlock, Chase Morrow, Gage Matlock, River Matlock, Case Matlock and Harper Penney. Pallbearers are Jimmy Pace, Jason Gresham, Dani Egan, Bob Wade, Robert Sides and Lane Williams.
