Obituary

Funeral services for Mildred Ann "Sissie" Moake Dalbey, 71, of LaPorte, Texas and formerly of Alto will be Tuesday, June 4, at 11 AM at the O.T. Allen & Son Funeral Chapel in Alto, Texas with Rev. Josh Lindsey officiating. Mildred passed away Thursday, May 30 in LaPorte. She was born December 13, 1952 in Pasadena, Texas to Arlie B. Moake and Opal Whitworth Moake.  Mildred had lived in the Deer Park and LaPorte area for most of her life and though she had lived in Alto for only 7 years, she was a regular visitor in the summer and on weekends and holidays. She was a member of the Bayshore Baptist Church and attended the Hilltop Baptist Church while in Alto. Mildred worked in Food Service for many years and had driven a catering truck as well as working in restaurants. She loved reading, gardening, puzzles, family type movies and visiting with her family. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents and by brother Arlice Moake.  She is survived by daughters Stacy Lenz and husband Ryan and Angela Dalbey and husband Tony Vannoy, brother Byron Moake and wife Sarah and grandchildren Kirsten Lenz, Ryan A. "Rex" Lenz and Anthony Vannoy.
