Meta D. Baker, 93, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2020, in Nacogdoches, Texas.  She was born in Giddings, Texas, to Gerhardt and Hulde Brade.  She lived in Cushing, Texas most of her life, where she enjoyed retirement, her family, gardening, and canning.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charlie G. Baker; brother, Leonard Brade; sister, Frieda Lehmann; and step granddaughter.  Survivors include son, Glen Gloyna Sr; grandchildren: Glen Gloyna Jr, Amanda Vail, and Anne-Marie Cox; great grandchildren: Colby Vail, Cade Vail, Layken Gloyna, Easton Gloyna, and Braelynn Gloyna; sisters, Edna Lehmann and Vernell Etzel; stepchildren, step grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Private Graveside Ceremony was held at Friendship Cemetery in Cushing, Texas.
