A graveside service for Melvin Higginbotham, 59, of Alto will be Wednesday January 17th at 2pm at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Wells, Tx. Bro. Bruce Robinson will officiate. No visitation is scheduled. Mr. Higginbotham died Tuesday in Alto. He was born November 18th, 1958 in Houston, Texas to Murphy Chester and Lucille Edwards Higginbotham. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Brothers Danny Higginbotham and Donald Higginbotham, and Sister-in-law Marie Higginbotham. He is survived by Brother and Sister-in-law Paul and Linda Higginbotham of Frankston, Texas; Sisters and Brothers-in-law Marilyn and Walter Nowell of Alto, Texas, Karen and Raymond Loden of Rusk, Texas and Jeanie Higginbotham of Arkansas; Sister-in-law Tina Higginbotham of Alto, Texas; as well as numerous Nieces and Nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be James Nowell, Sam Nowell, Josh Rayburn, Jacob Rayburn, Ronnie Higginbotham, and Dennis Higginbotham.
