A funeral service for Mattie Heffington Lilley, 90, of Houston, and formerly of Alto will be Saturday at 2 PM at the Calvery Tabernacle United Pentacostal Church in Alto. The family will receive visitors from 1-2 PM at the church. Interment will follow at Old Palestine Cemetery in Alto. Mrs. Lilley was born January 29th, 1934 in Denton, Texas to (Parents Names Here). She passed away Sunday December 15th, 2024 in New Caney, Texas. She graduated high school in Denton and was a member of the Calvery Tabernacle United Pentacostal Church in Alto. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Roland, son-in-law Michael Bass, parents-in-law W.R. and Ruth Lilley, 3 brother-in-law, and 1 sister-in-law, 3 brothers and their spouses, as well as one sister and her spouse. She is survived by her daughter Karen Bass, numerous nieces and nephews, sister-in-law Loretta and special friends Raven Webster and James Martin.
