During her husband''s long military career they lived in Florida, Alabama, Michigan, New Mexico, and a two year stint in Izmir Turkey. While living in Izmir Turkey they toured Europe. They settled in Houston, Texas after their military retirement and then both went to work at NASA. Cushing, Texas became home after retirement from NASA. Mae was a faithful servant of our Lord and lived a church and community driven service life. Mae had many wonderful friends. Among the special times in her life were anniversaries and the days spent learning to fly with her husband as her instructor. Both were licensed pilots and owned their own plane. Her fondest memory was that of flying over the Grand Canyon. Reading was Mae''s hobby and she enjoyed writing notes and birthday cards to family and friends. She was an awesome unconditional loving mother and mother-in-law. The family thanks the staff at The Arbor for their long loving care of Mae and the guidance given to us during her long illness.
