Funeral services for Mary R. Griffin, 88, of Alto, Texas will be Wednesday November 7th at 1pm at New Hope Baptist Church in Alto. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday November 6th from 6-8pm at the funeral home in Alto. Mrs. Griffin died Thursday November 1st in Tyler, Texas. She was born March 11th, 1930 in Alto, Texas to Arthur and Lucy Wade Reggie. She is preceded in death by her parentsand brothers and sisters Adolphus Reggie, Beatrice Ross, Murl Weary, Inez Reggie, James Reggie, Arthur Murl Reggie, Eugene Reggie, Ester B. Reggie, Joe Reggie, and Arthur Reggie, Jr. She is survived by her husband Wyzo Griffin of Alto.; daughter and fiance Mary L. Devers and Calvin Garrett; sisters Loretta Hood, Louise Smith, Lois Dickson, Clara Badgett, and Jewel Davis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
