Nacogdoches - Funeral services for Mary Loyce Broadus, 69, of Nacogdoches will be Sunday at 4pm at the Dickie Allen Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow at McKnight Cemetery. She was born September 10th, 1946 in Nacogdoches, Texas to Jessie Donald and Ellie Mae McKnight King. On October 30th, 1964 she married James Edwin Broadus. They were married for 46 years. She enjoyed shopping, crossword puzzles, and playing 42, spending time with her kids and grandkids, and loved buying new clothes, jewelry, and shoes. She could make the best greens and hot water cornbread ever! She is preceded in death by her Husband James and Grandson Aaron siblings Syble Rankin, Ida Rawlinson, Bobby King, Doyle King, and Pete King. She is survived by her children Teresa Rawlinson and Mark, Sherry Rawlinson and Matt and Katy Broadus; 7 Grandchildren Rachel, Dwayne, Aaron, Eryn, Matthew, Ryan, and Blake; 2 great Grandchildren Joy and James. Pallbearers will be Blake Rawlinson, Ryan Rawlinson, Bobby King, Jeffrey King, Dwight Rawlinson, and Clint Walker. Visitation will be Saturday evening from 6:30-8:30 PM at the funeral home in Cushing.
