Funeral services for Mae Gean Pettit, 95, of Alto will be Monday December 30th, at 10am at A. Frank Smith UMC in Alto with Bro. John Black officiating. Interment will be at Henry's Chapel Cemetery in Troup following the service. An open viewing time will be Sunday from 12 – 6pm at the funeral home for anyone who would like to pay their respects. Mrs. Pettit was the oldest daughter of Willie Dudley and Bessy Viola Stockton McElroy. She was born December 5th, 1924 in Mixon, Texas. She was a member of A. Frank Smith UMC and the Downtown Sunday School Class for over 50 years in Alto. She was a sister, baby sitter, and other momma to Gerold, Tucker, Billie, Marie (Dink), Darrell (Bud), and Roger. She was a wife of Glenn Lyle Boucher and later Robert L. Pettit. Her children are Loren Dudley Boucher and Dian Gayle Boucher. Grandchildren Christopher Boucher and wife Stacey, Tracee Boucher, Carrie Boucher Snook and husband Ritchie, great grandchildren Bryce Boucher, Grant Boucher, and Carson Snook, she had numerous nieces and nephews.
