Alto – Funeral services for Louise Hudson, 101, of Alto, will be Saturday June 29th at 11 AM in Alto, Texas at the New Hope Baptist church with Rev. Burton officiating.   Mrs. Hudson passed away Wednesday, June 19th in Duncanville. She was born October 25, 1917 in Alto to Ben Singletary and Daisy Thacker Singletary. Mrs. Hudson lived all her life in Alto and was a homemaker. She had also worked at several local restaurants and the Indian Mound Nursery. She was a long time member of the St. Thomas Chapel AME church and had also been a member of the Eastern Star. Louise was preceded in death by husband Cleophus Hudson, daughters Ruth Castle and Alzata Hudson, son Frank C. Hudson, 3 brothers, 5 sisters and 4 grandchildren. She is survived by son Burley Hudson and wife Angela of DeSoto, 11 grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
