CUSHING – Funeral services for Ashlen Kyndal Branton, 19, of Trawick will be Friday, April 13th, at 3 pm at the Dickie Allen Funeral Home in Cushing with Rev. Sonny Scarborough officiating. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Ms Branton passed away Monday, April 9th, near Mt. Enterprise. She was born July 15, 1998 in Nacogdoches to the late Luther Dalton Branton and Tambra Lynette Vaught . Kyndal attended Pre K through 12 grade in Cushing and graduated in 2016. She enjoyed cheerleading, theater arts, track, cross-country and spending time with her friends. Kyndal was awarded a scholarship from Panola Junior College for theater and attended nursing classes there. She had attended church at the Trawick Presbyterian, Lillie Grove Baptist Church and Oak Grove Baptist Church. Kyndal loved her family and friends. She was always there for a shoulder to cry on or to lend a helping hand. Most of all she was ready to have a good time. She loved life and didn't want to miss a moment with someone she loved. She gave her life to Jesus as a young girl, and He has her a place in heaven. You can bet, as many have said, "She's working the social network up there." Kyndal is preceded in death by her father, grandfather Wendell Vaught and grandparents J.L. and Hilda Branton. She is survived by her mother Tambra Vaught of Trawick, grandmother Sarah Vaught of Trawick, sister Kolby Rab (Todd) of Nacogdoches, brothers Case and Zayden Richardson of Trawick as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Pallbearers will be Todd Rab, Slayton Vaught, James Lilly, Jonathan Bryant, Trey Ellis and Clint Singleton. Honorary pallbearers are Case and Zayden Richardson and Reagan Box. Burial will be at the Linn Flat Cemetery following services.
