Kevin
Pierce
Aug 11, 1960 — Sep 12, 2026
Kevin Pierce was born on August 11, 1960, and lived 66 years marked by hard work, dedication to his community, and a deep love for his family. For 42 of those years, he shared his life with his beloved wife, Tessa, building a family and a legacy that will continue for generations.
Kevin took great pride in serving his community as the County Commissioner of Precinct 2 in Cherokee County. He later became the owner and operator of Lonestar Equipment and Consignment in Nacogdoches, Texas, where he put his many mechanical talents to work. He was also a faithful member of Holly Springs Baptist Church.
Above all, Kevin was a husband, father, grandfather, and brother who leaves behind a family that will forever cherish his memory.
He is survived by his wife, Tessa; his daughter and son-in-law, Lauren and Seth Daniel, and their four children, Evelyn, Sutton, Abby Raye, and Dax Daniel; and his son and daughter-in-law, Shelby and Chelsea Pierce, and their two daughters, Kailea Moore and Maci Pierce.
He is also survived by his three siblings: Quinon Pierce and his wife, Rhonda; David Pierce and his wife, Glenda; and Brenda Lindsey.
Kevin was preceded in death by his beloved granddaughter, Ava Celeste Daniel; his mother and father, Joe and Doris Pierce; his father-in-law, Billy Ray Johnson; and his brother-in-law, Bill Lindsey. Kevin and Tessa, along with Shelby and Chelsea, also carry the memory of precious children lost through miscarriage, whose place in their family will never be forgotten.
Kevin will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 15th, at 11 AM at the Holly Springs Baptist Church in Appleby with Rev. Seth Daniel officiating.
