Karren Janay Jones, 75, of Alto, Texas passed away peacefully on March 29, 2018 at Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas. Karren was born in Cushing on April 18, 1942 to Autrey and Ruby Wilkerson. She graduated from Cushing High School. She was also a graduate from Henderson County Junior College School of Nursing. Karren is preceded in death by her mother and father. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Stan Zelner of Flower Mound; son and daughter-in-law, Jay and LeAnn Jones of Alto; grandchildren, Tanner Jones, Allee Jones, and Nicholas Zelner; brother and sister-in-law, Bo and Marg Wilkerson of Cushing; sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Dicky Gresham of Rusk; and numerous nieces and nephews.Visitation will be March 30, 2018, from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at O.T. Allen and Son Funeral Home in Alto. Services will be March 31, 2018, at 2:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church in Alto with Bro. Gary Pridmore officiating. Interment to follow at Lynches Chapel in Alto. Pallbearers will be Stan Zelner, Nicholas Zelner, Tanner Jones, John Wilkerson, Dicky Gresham, Brandon Gresham, and Tyler Gresham. The family would like to thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers. A special thank you to all of the caregivers for the outstanding care that you provided for her over the years.
