Graveside services for Julia Bassett, 93, of Cushing will be Thursday December 27th 2018 at 2pm at the McKnight Cemetery in Cushing with Bro. Shak Arrington officiating. There is no visitation scheduled. Mrs. Bassett passed away Tuesday December 25th in Nacogdoches, Texas. She was born July 13th, 1925 in Baltimore, Maryland to Guerrino and Isolina Mazzocchi Stipa. She grew up with her 13 siblings in Baltimore. She was a member of the Cushing Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Romie Jasper Bassett, and 11 siblings. She is survived by her daughters Elizabeth Livesay, Martha Miller (Jerry), Sylvia Fisher, Joann Smith, and Belinda Gresham (Ricky), brother Thomas Stipa, sisters Sara Lobert and Angela Ashburn, 10 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 25 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
