John "Ray" Reed passed away on April 7th, 2022 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 77. He was born to John Wylie and Myrtis Syble (Price) Reed on January 10th, 1945 in Alto, Texas. He proudly served in the Navy during the Vietnam war. He was a loving father, and a good provider for his family at home. Ray is preceded in death by his parents John and Syble Reed, his brother Wylie Clinton Reed, his niece Karen Bryan, and his daughter Anita Reed.Ray is survived by his sons Raymond, Chris, and Michael Reed; Sister Sylvia Malnar; niece Rebecca Dorman; and numerous other loving relatives and friends.  A graveside service will be held Friday April 15th, at 2pm at the Alto City Cemetery. No formal visitation is scheduled.
