Joe Dan Chanel, Jr. passed away June 1st, 2020 in Galveston, Texas. He was born December 15th, 1957 in Nacogdoches, Texas to Joe Dan, Sr. and Doris Jean Parrot Channel. He is preceded in death by his parents, son Michael Channel, and ex wife Lydia Channel. He is survived by his son Jason Channel and Carrie Moldrem of New Braunfels, Texas; sisters and brothers-in-law Rhonda and Gary Wilson of Nacogdoches, Texas and JoAnn and Eric Brown of Nacogdoches, Texas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews Nakia and Hollie Wilson, LaCaesha and Keith Meek, Tessa and Justin Thompson, Natasha Espinosa and Jameson Smith, Brittany Channel, Joseph Pope, and Andrea Pope, as well as two grandsons Trenton and Tristan Channel
