Services will be held Monday September 27th, 2021 at 2pm at A. Frank Smith UMC in Alto. Interment will follow at Lynches Chapel Cemetery. There will be a visitation also at the church one hour prior to services.

Jimmy Moses, 86, of Alto passed away Friday September 24th, 2021. He was born November 30th, 1934 in Alto, Texas to Jim and Reba Wallace Moses. Mr. Moses was a member of A. Frank Smith UMC in Alto, and a Lions Club Member. He was a teacher and he was over the Foreign Language Department at SFA, where he worked for 28 years. He also attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rusk in later years. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Sterling Lovell and sister Sybleen Collins. He is survived by his sister Kathleen Cornelison; great nieces and nephews Jill White, Jake Reasonover, Joe Henry Reasonover, Cayenne Reasonover, Jeffrey Landrum, and Autumn Cornelison, as well as numerous great great nieces, nephews, and friends.
