Nacogdoches - Funeral services for Jerry Dan Downs, 75, of Cushing will be Wednesday August 17th, 2016 at 2pm at the Dickie Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at McKnight Cemetery. He died Saturday in Cushing. He was born November 17th, 1940 in Carthage Texas to Willie and Ella Bellamy Downs. He is preceded in death by 3 brothers, 1 sister, and granddaughter Amber Downs. He is survived by Wife Elline Downs of Cushing, Texas, Sons and Daughters-in-law Carl and Debbie Downs Reklaw, Texas, Tony and Terry Downs Nacogdoches, Texas , and Terry Downs of Cushing, Texas; Daughter and Son-in-law Tammy and Toadie Duckett of Cushing, Texas; Brothers and Sister-in-law Mike Downs of Cushing, Texas, and Fred and Marshalla Downs of Paris, Texas; Grandchildren Amanda Downs, Tony Downs, Jr., Waylon Downs, Colton Duckett, Tate Duckett, Rual McBride, David McBride, Angel Downs, Michael Downs; Great Grandchildren Kaylei Downs, Alaina Hayes, Logan Downs, Olivia Downs, Blaze Downs, and River Downs. Pallbearers will be Mike Downs, Fred Downs, Rual McBride, David McBride, Damon Downs, and Casey Tubbe. Visitation will be Tuesday night from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
