James A. Russo, Sr., 87, of Alto, Texas passed away Thursday July 8th at his home in Alto. He was born June 13th, 1934, in Jamaica, NY to Samuel and Sophie Russo. He was a Korean War Veteran serving in the Air Force. He dearly loved his family, country, animals, and gardening. He lived in Alto for 30 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother Sam Russo. He is survived by his wife Sandy Russo, children Sonia Snyder and Sharon Kalinowski, Jennifer and Steve Sutton, Roger Russo and Liz Luton, and James A. Jr. and Donna-Vee Russo; grandchildren Alison Russo, Alexa Russo, Cate Russo, Macy Russo, and Shayne Sutton, nephews Anthony and Raymond Russo; as well as beloved animals Zelda, Fonzie, and Gabby.
