A graveside service for James Alton Hutchison, 61, of Douglass will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Nacogdoches, Texas at 1:00 PM, December 31, 2021 with Brother Bill Shaw officiating. James Alton Hutchison passed away Monday, December 27, 2021 at his home with his loved ones by his side. James was born September 11, 1960 to Alton Hutchison and Jeannette Wall Hutchison in Nacogdoches, Texas. James graduated from Nacagdoches High School and worked as welder at a local shop. He later worked for Tyson until he was unable to work due to illness. He enjoyed fishing and playing his guitar. James played country and blues for his own band. He loved to be out in nature taking walks and enjoying the country. James was known for his kindness and being "good-hearted". He was a member of the Kings Highway Country Church in Douglass, Texas. James was preceded in death by his parents, step-father Howard Kirley, and sister Melissa Hutchison. He is survived by his wife Victoria Hutchison of Douglass, and sisters Theresa and husband Don, Pollard of Douglass, and Kim Fleming of Nacogdoches. He is also survived by two daughters and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Michael Cosby, Justin Cosby, Chandler Hutchison, and Gunner Fleming.
