Funeral services for James Howard Honea, 51, of Nacogdoches will be Saturday August 17th, 2019 at 10am at the Dickie Allen funeral home chapel in Cushing, Texas. Visitation will be from 9am-10am just before the service starts. Interment will follow at Holly Grove Cemetery near Trawick. Mr. Honea was born December 26th, 1967 in Nacogdoches, Texas to Harvey Ray and Henrietta Butcher Honea. He was an excellent cabinet maker and loved his family. He is preceded in death by his mother Henrietta Honea, brothers Dannie Cooper, Jerry Cooper, Glenda Tindell, and sister Diane Clevenger. He is survived by his father Harvey Ray Honea, wife Laura Honea, son James Ray Honea (Racheal), daughter Kristina Honea, brothers Charles Honea (Wanda), Coy Carter, Donnie Cooper, Michael Robinson (Sabrina), sister Beverly Hutto (Dennis), and one grandchild Gavin. Pallbearers will be Garrett Ammons, Lynn Bass, Robert Doles, Charles Olenick, Jeremy Carrell, Doug Taucer, and Chris Carter. Honorary pallbearer is George Slay.
