Graveside memorial services for Jacqueline Edwards Lane, 79, of Laneville were held Saturday, December 11 at the Laneville Cemetery at 4 PM. She passed away Friday, December 10, in Henderson. Mrs. Lane was born November 4, 1942 in Smithfield, North Carolina to Herman B. Edwards and Olivia Estelle Parker Edwards. She has always considered Four Oaks, North Carolina her home and had also lived in Texas for many years. Jacqueline was Baptist and had worked as an office manager for Lane Electric and for Hilton Hotels. She loved animals. Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents and a son Alex Lane. She is survived by sons Chris Lane of Houston, Steve Lane of Laneville and Bruce Lane of Seattle, Washington, sisters Jeanette Hunter, Sandra Riddle and Kay Lewis, 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren as well as 2 nieces and 5 nephews.
