Private graveside funeral services for Irene Todd, 94, of Alto will be held with her grandson Jason Duplichain officiating. Mrs. Todd passed away Monday, August 3, in Rusk. She was born December 19, 1925 in Kennard, Texas to George Mitchell and Minnie Davis Mitchell. Irene had lived in Alto for most of her life and had also lived in Weches for several years. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Alto, where she was a longtime member of the choir. Irene had also worked at Brunt's Ready To Wear and Boyd's Pharmacy in Alto, and Maries's Unique Boutique in Rusk.She was preceded in death by husband's Hubert Womack and Ray Todd,son Larry Womack and infant daughter Katy Lee Womack. Irene is survived by daughter Betty Duplichain of Alto, grandchildren Stacie Tatom, Scott Womack (Beth), Shanna McCrory (Shane), Steve Womack (Jennifer), Jason Duplichain (Lisa), DeAnna Griffith (Kyle), and Jeff Duplichain (Misty), 20 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren as well as son-in-law Mark Suggs. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
