Helen Joyce Kirksey

Helen Joyce Kirksey, 94 years and three months, of Houston, Texas, passed away on October 27, 2026 in Houston, Texas.

A Graveside Service for the family will be held October 31st, 2026 at 2pm at Larissa Cemetery at Mt. Selman, Texas with Bro. Steve Goode of Hilltop Baptist Church officiating.

Helen Kirksey was born in Tyler, Texas, the only child to Rupert and Estelle Sims on July 23rd, 1932. She graduated from Brownwood High School and married Clyde T. Kirksey in Brownwood and later moved to Houston, Texas.

She is a lifelong Baptist with the latest church being Lazybrook Baptist Church (Lifebrook) in Houston.

Helen Kirksey is preceded in death by both of her parents and her husband.

Helen Kirksey is survived by daughters Helen Malone and husband Daniel, Mary Froelich and husband David, son Wilson Kirksey; granddaughters Kimberly Malone and Karie Harden and husband Matthew; great grandchildren Aislyn, Clinton, and Hunter Harden.
