Alto – A memorial service for Harold Ray Hudnall, 83, of Alto will be Saturday January 20th at 2pm at the O.T. Allen & Son Chapel with Bro. Mark Norman officiating. Visitation will be from 1-2pm directly before the service also at the funeral home. Mr. Hudnall met Jesus and joined his sons Clay and Mark on the Banks of Jordan Wednesday January 17th in Alto, Texas. He was born May 14th, 1934 in Rusk, Texas to Stewart and Irene Wallace Hudnall. He is also preceded in death by his parents, and step son David Swafford.

He is a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was an Honor Guard for his years of military service and carried the discipline and respect he was taught throughout his entire 83 years of life. He retired after 38 years with the Texas Highway Department. He spent his retirement cutting hay and tending cattle and if you were lucky enough to be beside him, then he would teach you something along the way.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years Peggy Hudnall of Alto, Texas; daughter Allison Bays of Alto, Texas; step-son Joseph L. Bays of Nacogdoches, Texas; step-daughter Marsha Parker of Ferris, Texas; brother and sister-in-law Ernest and Martha Hudnall of Hudson Chapel, Texas; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Wayne and Candy Selman of Lufkin, Texas; grandchildren Brandon Hudnall, Chelsea May, Duston Hudnall, Jill Hudnall, Cody Hudnall, Abby Bays and Alex Bays; great grandchildren Macie Hudnall, Camdon Hudnall, Brilee Hudnall, Blake May, Jake Creamer, and Carson Creamer; and numerous nephews, friends, and other family.
