Alto –A Graveside service for Glenn Stuart Wood, 67, of Alto will be Sunday April 30th at 2 PM at Old Palestine Cemetery in Alto. A family visitation will be held Saturday the 29th at the funeral home in Alto from 6-8 PM. Mr. Wood died Wednesday, April 26th, in Jacksonville.

He was born August 10th, 1949 in Angleton, Texas to Fred Wood and Ola Mae Engledow Wood. Mr. Wood had lived in Alto for many years and had also lived in Angleton, Texas. He was Baptist and had worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator and was a member of the Local Union # 450. Mr. Wood was preceded in death by his parents and by sister, Janet Reed. He is survived by niece Heather Reed, nephew Shane Reed and many cousins, friends and other relatives.
