Cushing- Funeral services for Glenda Rawlinson, 67, of Nacogdoches will be Saturday October 29th, 2016 at 10am at the McKnight Church in Cushing. There will be a visitation Friday night from 5-7pm at the funeral home in Cushing. Burial will be at McKnight Cemetery. Glenda died Wednesday peacefully in her sleep with her husband by her side. She was born March 6th, 1949 in Cushing, Texas to Clarence and Nora Hartless Penney. She loved quilting, flowers, and birds and believed cleanliness is next to Godliness. She was eagerly awaiting being reunited in heaven with her son Jerry Rawlinson. She is also preceded by her parents, brother Melvin "Sonny" Penney, and Nephew Donnie "Mikey" Penney. She is survived by husband of 51 years Jerrel Rawlinson of Nacogdoches, Texas; Brothers and Sister-in-law Chicken and Nancy Penney of Cushing, Texas, C.H. "Buddy" Penney of Cushing, Texas, Marty and Manelle Penney of Nacogdoches, Texas, Paul and Pat Penney of Reklaw, Texas; Sisters and Brother-in-law Nell Marks of Nacogdoches, Texas, Robbie Rogers of Lake Striker, Texas, Shirley and Leonard Molandes of Lufkin, Texas, and Laura Phillips of Trawick, Texas; Numerous Nieces and Nephews. Pallbearers will be Clay Penney, John Mart Penney, Brad Rawlinson, Buddy Alan Rawlinson, Paul Rawlinson and Jackie Rawlinson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bubba Phillips, Jimmy Penney, James C. "Manz" Rogers, Jr. Family will be receiving guests at the Sacul Community center immediately following the graveside service. Food can be delivered prior to the service on Saturday.
