Her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother brought her tremendous joy, and she cherished every moment spent with her family.

A gathering of friends and family for Glenda “Sue” Campbell, 77, will be held Thursday August 27 from 6:00-8:00PM at the Church of Christ Fellowship Hall, located at 940 7th Streeet in Cushing, TX. Mrs. Campbell died Monday, August 24, 2026 in Nacogdoches. Arrangements are under the care of Dickie Allen Funeral Home in Cushing.

She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. She will be remembered fondly by many.

She shared a beautiful life with her beloved husband of 50 years, Ray Campbell, who preceded her in death. Together, they built a family and created a lifetime of memories that will be treasured forever.

She was born to Burr and Viva McCutcheon in Harrison, Arkansas on August 11, 1949. She was a devoted mother to Cheryl Parsley and Crystal Campbell who cherished many memories of her. Her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother brought her tremendous joy, and she cherished every moment spent with her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl and Crystal, of Nacogdoches, Texas; her brothers, Billy McCutcheon and wife, Liz, of New Summerfield, Texas, and Dale McCutcheon and wife, Debbie, of Valley Springs, Arkansas; and her sister-in-law, Carolyn McCutcheon, of Harrison, Arkansas.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Nick Reeves and wife, Hannah; Kannon Campbell; Courtney Parsley; Rayna Williams; and Emma Rawlinson; and her great-granddaughters, Addy Reeves, Presley Hill, Cara Reeves, and Kylynn Reeves, as well as many nieces and nephews who were precious to her.

She was affectionately known to her grandchildren as “Granny Sue” or “Grandpa”, as Presley lovingly called her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her sister, Freda Campbell, and her two brothers, Burr McCutcheon Jr. and Wendell McCutcheon.

Though she is no longer with us, her memory will remain in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.

Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with those she loved and lost; she will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
