DICKIE ALLEN FUNERAL HOME: Cushing- Graveside services for Gladys Dean Gannon Barbaree, 80, of Livingston and formerly of Laneville, will be Sunday August 27th, at 10am at the Laneville cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday night from 6-8 PM at the funeral home in Cushing. Mrs. Barbaree died Thursday, August 24th, in Livingston. She was born August 31st, 1936 in Oakhurst, Texas to Ervin Lewis Gannon and Nancy Mariah Weaver Gannon. She lived in Laneville for 30 years and was Baptist. Mrs. Barbaree was a homemaker and she also loved gardening, crochet, crossword puzzles and skip-bo. She dearly loved all of her Be-Oh-Bye-Oh Babies. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-mother Winnie Currie Gannon, husband Forrest Barbaree and sister Dealia Hunt. Mrs Barbaree is survived by son David Barbaree (Marion) of Waller, daughters Wanda Darlene Johnson (Terry) of Kingwood and Diann Hardy of New Caney, brother Gordan Gannon (Kay) of Houston and sister Ervialeen McCullough (Larry) of Lomita, Ca. as well as 8 grandchildren, 14 greatgrandchildren and 1 on the way.
