Gilbert Odell Reno, 95, of Grapeland, TX passed peacefully on September 10, 2022, surrounded by his family.

Visitation will be 6:00pm-8:00pm, Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at O.T. Allen & Son Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Weches Cemetery.

Gilbert was born in Guntersville, Alabama to Walter James Reno and Mary Snyder Reno. He lived and worked in various states before settling in Weches for the last 35 years. He was a longshoreman and enjoyed coon hunting.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Lucille Reno; sons, Walter Reno and Robby Reno; brothers, Buddy Reno and Ellie Reno; sisters, Jeanette Chandler, Dora Lambert and Eller Reno.

Gilbert is survived by his daughter, Virgie Brann (Tommy) of Huntington, Tx; sons, Billy Reno (Virginia) of Shepherd, Tx and Elden Reno (Maria) of Weches, Tx, 21 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Reno, Jason Reno, Josh McWilliams, Leighton Brann, Brian Reno, Shannon Reno, Walter Reno, and William Wilcox.
