Funeral services for Gerald L. Cleveland, 80, of Longview will be Sunday June 2nd 2019 at 11am at the Dickie Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to services also at the funeral home. Interment will follow the chapel service at McKnight Cemetery in Cushing. Mr. Cleveland died Wednesday May 29th in Longview, Texas. He was born October 31st, 1938 in Cushing, Texas to James L. and Gertha Wade Cleveland. He is preceded in death by his parents, son Gerald Levon Cleveland II, brother James Ray Cleveland, and sister Zelda Matlock Birdwell. He is survived by his wife Romelia Cleveland of Longview, Texas, sons and daughter-in-law James William Cleveland of Lufkin, Texas, James Michael and Jaime Cleveland of Sanderson, Texas,  Oscar Villegas of Plano, Texas and Dave Villegas of San Antonio, Texas; daughter and son-in-law Tonya and Ernie Helms of Jacksonville, Florida; brothers Darvis Cleveland of Longview and Wayne Cleveland of Hutto; sister Doris Garrett of Maryville, Tennessee; 9 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
