Graveside services for Gary Lynn Wallace, 67, of Canton will be at 10:30AM, Thursday, February 2nd at the Lynches Chapel Cemetery near Alto. No visitation is scheduled. Gary passed away Saturday, January 28th in Tyer. He was born October 5, 1955 near Rusk, Texas to James Willard Wallace and Opal Dunsmore Wallace. Gary left the Alto/Rusk area at an early age and worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator. He had lived many years in West Texas where he operated his own business and the last several years in Canton where he had worked at Longview Road & Bridge. Gary enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time. Gary was preceded in death by his parents James and Opal Wallace and brothers Jesse Wallace and James Wallace. He is survived by son Starsky Wallace of Lometa, Texas, daughter Brandi Wallace of Lometa, Texas, brother Ray Wallace and wife Jeri of Trinity, Texas, sisters Glendia Griffin and husband David of Palestine and Alvaleane Binnarr of Summerville, South Carolina and several grandchildren.
