Funeral service for Ernie Wolf, 69, of Alto will be held Sunday, April 14, 2019 at 3 pm at the O.T. Allen & Son Funeral Home in Alto, Texas with Rev. Keith Hassell officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Palestine Cemetery. Mr. Wolf passed away Wednesday in Tyler. He was born June 5, 1949 in Covington, Oklahoma to Fred Nelson Wolf and Geneva Mae Moore Wolf. He lived in Ft. Worth for many years and had lived in Alto for the last 36 years. Ernie owned and operated Ernie's Body Shop in Rusk for 12 years and had worked at Pearman Motor Company in Alto for several years before that. Ernie was a christian and had been a past Worshipful Master Mason at the Alto Masonic Lodge. Ernie loved music, playing guitar and singing and sharing his favorite music with others. He had also loved riding his Harley in years past and took great pride in his work and providing for his family. Ernie was preceded in death by his parents, brother Fred D. Wolf and sister Gloria Kay Mitchell. He is survived by wife Millie Wolf of Alto, daughter Jennifer Wolf of Ft. Worth, sons James Wolf (Donna) of Rusk and Jason Wolf of Alto, brother John Wolf Sr. of Paradise, grandchildren Anthony James Conway, Adam Ray Gentry, Stephanie Gentry, Jennifer Jo Goodman and Savanah Few and 11 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home in Alto
