Emmie Marianne Black, 92, of Alto passed away January 14, 2022 in Wells, Texas. She was born October 16, 1929 in Simonsberg, Germany to Wilhelh Holm and Anni Schweizer Holm. Emmie grew up in Germany and later moved to Texas. She had lived in Woodville for some time and lived the last several years in Alto. She was a homemaker and had attended The River church in Alto. She loved cooking and decorating, especially during the holidays. Emmie was preceded in death by her husband Whiteman Decker Black and a sister Annie Walker.
