Graveside funeral services for Elisa Lois McDonald, 90, of Alto, will be Friday, June 17, at 10 AM in the Old Palestine Cemetery in Alto with Judge Chris Davis officiating. No visitation is scheduled. She was born December 23, 1931 in Alto, Texas to John Milton Harvey and Katie Lois Tidwell Harvey. She passed away Tuesday, June 14, in Nacogdoches. Elisa had lived in Dallas for many years before retiring and moving back to Alto 30 years ago. She was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School in 1948 and had worked as an office manager for a medical group. Elisa was a member of the A. Frank Smith Methodist Church in Alto. She was preceded in death by husband Jerry McDonald, daughter Pamela Ann Scott, brothers Harold Harvey, Leonard Harvey and John W. Harvey and sister Elsie Laverne Harvey. Elisa is survived by sons George William Scott and wife Terri of Katy and Kimberly Scott and wife Mindy of Alto, step sons Jon McDonald and wife Judy of Midlothian and Joel McDonald of Granbury, step daughter Jana Hammond and husband Jay of Granbury, grandchildren Alex Scott and wife Shu-Yi, Ashley Oberholzter and husband Chris, Justin Scott and wife Jordyn, Tad Scott and wife Kari, Trevor Scott and wife Kaleigh, Clayton Scott and wife Caroline, Hayden Scott and wife Amanda and Abbey Shipp and husband Branden as well as 21 great grandchildren. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
