Funeral services for Dovie Genine Felder Tidwell, 87, of Houston and formerly of Alto will be Saturday May 15th, 2021 at 10am at the O.T. Allen & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery near Alto. A visitation will be held Friday May 14th, from 6-8pm also at the funeral home.

Dovie Genine Felder Tidwell, 87, formerly of Alto, died Saturday May 8th, 2021 in Houston, Tx. She was born January 26th, 1934 in Alto, Tx to Morris and Dovie Moseley Felder. Mrs. Tidwell graduated from Alto High School and moved to Kountze after marry her husband of 39 years, Charles Tidwell. She had a passion for playing card games and ran a daycare for many years. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Edward Tidwell and three sons David, Drew and Keith Tidwell. She is survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and even great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jerrod Standefer, Jared Tidwell,  Josh Tidwell, Daniel Tidwell, Harley Tidwell, and David Tidwell.
