Dorothy F. Reeves Wells - Graveside funeral services for Dorothy F. Reeves, 91, of Wells will be Friday, February 10th, at 3 PM in the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Wells, with Rev. Horace Fletcher officiating. Mrs. Reeves died Tuesday, Feb. 7th, in Tyler. She was born January 27th, 1926 in Marque, Texas to Elbert Moon and Lucenda Ferguson Moon. She had live most of her life in Wells and had also lived in Rusk and Forest. Mrs. Reeves was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Wells and had worked as a homemaker, and as a Charge Attendant at the Lufkin State School. She loved sewing, gardening and raising animals. Dorothy was preceded in death by husband Robert Lancing Reeves and sister Rebecca Berdine. Survivors include daughters and son-in-law Jeanie Harper (Ulys) of Jacksonville and Linda Wallace of Forest, son and daughter-in-law Lanny Reeves (Pat) of Wells, sister Alene Roedl of Kansas, grandchildren Steven Harper, Shawn Harper, Robert Wallace, Terry Wallace, Shere'' Antley, Jennifer Hamilton and Ashley Loftin, and 9 great grandchildren. There will be visitation at the O.T. Allen & Son funeral home Thursday from 6-8 pm.
