Alto –Funeral service for Dorothy Konstantin Perkins, 95, of Alto will be Thursday June 1st, at 2 PM at the Alto Missionary Baptist Church in Alto with Rev. Bruce Robinson officiating. A family visitation will be held Thursday before services starting at 1PM at the church. Burial will follow at Alto City Cemetery.

Dorothy passed away, Monday, May 29th in Tyler. Mrs. Perkins was born November 5th, 1921 in Dallas, Texas to M. Benjamin and Eula Glosson Konstantin. She had lived most of her life in Alto and was a member of the Alto Missionary Baptist Church. Dorothy was retired from the Lufkin State School and loved flowers, crocheting and other crafts. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Archie Perkins, sister Elsie Murphy and grandson-in-law Roland Peacock. Survivors include sons Dean Perkins (Mary) of Alto, Roy Perkins (Jo Beth) of Douglass, daughter Gloria Adams of Palestine and brother Morris Benjamin Konstantin of Houston, grandchildren Ricky Perkins (Christy), Renee Peacock, Andi Jo Perkins, Tony Adams and Misty McClendon, great grands Austin Peacock, Addison Peacock, Mason Perkins, Matthew Perkins, Paisley Perkins, Austin McClendon and Kelsey McClendon, and great great grandchild Asher Peacock. Grandsons and Great Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
