Donna Jo Hooper, 72, of Tyler, Tx passed away on June 28th, 2023 in Tyler surrounded by family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Monday July 3rd, 2023 at New Faith Church in Sacul, Tx with Pastor Mike Williams officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm Monday July 3rd, 2023 at Lindale City Cemetery. Arrangements are by Dickie Allen Funeral Home.

Donna was born in Arizona to Jack Trammell and Betty Jo Allister on June 14, 1951. She moved to Texas in the early 90's and soon after met and married the love of her life Freddie Hooper on June 7th, 1998 in Lindale, Tx. She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Donna is preceded in death by her husband Freddie Hooper, granddaughter Carmen Jenkins, and grandmother Ellen Aldridge.

Donna is survived by her daughter Ellen Jenkins, spouse Clint Jenkins of Rusk, Tx; daughter Amanda Hobson and spouse Michael Hobson of Jacksonville, Tx; and son Ricky Kennedy and spouse Nicholle Kennedy of Tyler, Tx. Her grandchildren are Linda Williams, Jessica Martin, Bryce Jenkins, Grace Veitch, Laina Veitch, Kiera Veitch, and Mason and Lincoln Kennedy. Great grandchildren are Carlea and Mattie Williams, Dawsyn and Karsyn Martin, along with many brothers, sisters, and cousins.
