Dennis Von Benedict 67 of Palestine,TX passed away July 25,2016 in Palestine,TX. He was born August 19,1948 to Dennis and Hazel Benedict in Nacogdoches,TX. He was a 1966 graduate of Rusk High School. He worked in the Fiance business for 28 years and as a Correctional Officer for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for 4 years. He is survived by his wife Florence Benedict, Ex-Wife Pamela Benedict, Son Michael Benedict, Daughter Susan Benedict, Granddaughter Emily Benedict,Grandsons, Corey,Joshua,and Jacob Benedict, Stepdaughters Susan Seay and Husband William Seay,Sr. Angela Aldridge and Husband Samuel Aldridge, Step-Granddaughters Maikenzie Seay, and Zandra Aldridge, Step-Grandsons, William Seay Jr. and Kainen Aldridge, Sister- in-laws Mary Ann Smith,and Margaret McCaleb and Husband Clifton McCaleb, and Uncle Wayne Caver. He is preceded in death by his parents, many relatives, and friends. Funeral Services will be held Thursday July 28,2016 at 2:PM at The Dickie Allen Funeral Home in Cushing,TX
