Graveside funeral services for Debbie Kay Butler, 65, of Rusk will be Tuesday, February 2, at 1 PM in the Oakland Cemetery with Rev. Fred Blakemore officiating. Mrs. Butler passed away Saturday, January 30, in Alto. She was born February 2, 1955 in Rusk, Texas to Roscoe Hinson and Gertrue Loden Hinson. Debbie lived most of her life in Rusk and Alto and had also lived in Houston where she worked as an EMT. She was a member of the Oakland Baptist Church and had worked as a store manager for Steve Thompson. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Dean Butler and sisters Sandra Jo Glover and Penny Hinson. She is survived by son Scott Wofford of Rusk, Daughter Tonya Rodriquez of Alto, brother Roy Hinson of Rusk sister Donna Blakemore and husband Charlie of Alto, grandchildren Brandin Rodriquez and Halley Plata and husband David, God son Anthony Tucker and daughter-in-law Maria Wofford. No visitation is planned. Flowers can be delivered to the funeral home in Alto Monday or Tuesday morning.
