Claire Ola Sides O.T. Allen & Son Funeral Home- Alto, Texas- (936)858-4111 Alto - Funeral services for Claire Ola Heath Sides, 81, of Alto will be Friday, April 15th at 2:00PM at the O.T. Allen & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ralph Johnson officiating. Burial will be at the Old Palestine Cemetery in Alto. Mrs. Sides passed away Saturday, April 9th, in Alto. She was born December 16th, 1934 in Alto to Dudley Heath and Ola Altha Engledow Heath. Claire had lived most of her life in Alto and about 27 years in Houston. She had worked as a home health provider, a homemaker and had once operated her own quilting buisness. She was Pentecostal. Mrs. Sides was preceded in death by her husband Thomas H. Sides, son Harold Sides, sister Elenora Clifton and great grandsons, Christian McGarity and Peyton Giblin. She is survived by Daughters Betty Sue Flowers of Conroe, Janice McGarity of Alto, Ola Jean Sides of Alto, Sons and Daughters-in-law Thomas Dudley Sides (Samantha) of Alto and Thomas Wayne Sides (Rhonda) of Alto, 14 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Wayne Sides, Heath Giblin, Donny McGarity, Shannon McGarity, Charles Flowers Jr. and Mark Jeter. Honorary pallbearers are Elvin Peacock, Cody Allen and Gary Hager. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6-8 PM at the Funeral Home in Alto.
