A private family memorial service for Cindy Lou Bailey, 77, of Alto, will be held at a later date. Cindy passed away Saturday, June 26, in Jacksonville, Texas. She was born February 5, 1944 in Paramount, California. Cindy had lived in Alto for 2 ½ years and had also in California, The Woodlands and Sealy. She had worked for 16 years as a legal secretary for the Paralyzed Veterans Home of Texas. She loved reading, jigsaw puzzles and arts and crafts. She was a devout Christian. Cindy was preceded in death by her son Jerry Jay Curtis. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Jennifer and Lester Bolin of Alto, son & daughter-in-law Johnny and Theresa Curtis of Weimer, brother Raymond Bistos of California as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
