Funeral services for Beverly Maddux Campbell, 90, of Pflugerville and formerly of Lufkin will be Saturday, April 16, at 2 PM at the O.T. Allen & Son Funeral Chapel in Alto. There will be a visitation from 1 PM until 2 PM Saturday. Burial will follow at the Old Palestine Cemetery in Alto. Mrs. Campbell passed away Tuesday, April 12 in Pflugerville. She was born January 17, 1932 in Alto, Texas to H.B. Maddux and Ida Viola Collier. She had lived in Lufkin for many years and retired from the Angelina County Tax office where she worked as a clerk. She was a member of the Harmony Hill Baptist Church in Lufkin and had done volunteer work at the Lufkin Memorial Hospital. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Beverly was preceded in death by husbands Harry Frank Maddin and Phillip Van Campbell, her parents, 3 sisters and 3 brothers. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law Frank Maddin and Lucinda Maddin of Pflugerville, grandsons Ethan Maddin of Austin and Luke Maddin of Pflugerville as well as numerous nieces and nephews.Memorials can be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital or Samaitan's Purse.
