Barbara was born August 25, 1929, in Alto Texas to Wilber and Lillian Williams. She passed away peacefully on March 15, 2023, at the age of 93. Barbara loved art and enjoyed sharing her creative abilities at church or where there was a need. She attended First Baptist Church in Alto for many years and loved hostessing and entertaining her family and friends. She loved reading, playing card games, and dominoes.Barbara spent her last years traveling and cruising with the love of her life JB Glaspie. They attended First Christian Church in Tyler. She is survived by her daughter Mendy McLachlan of Huntington, step-daughter Robin Callaway of Alto, step-daughter Jalna Gayle of Pflugerville, step-daughter Cynthia Nance of Tyler, daughter-in-law Carol Boyd of Palestine, grandchildren Jason and Heather Warner of Huntington, Lynndale and Monica Franklin of Van, Heath and Summer Garcia of Lufkin, and Meredith and Lori Boyd of Mont Belvieu. She has 11 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Warren Whiteman and JB Glaspie, son James Boyd III and step son Hunter Whiteman. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 18, at 10 AM in the O.T. Allen & Son Funeral Home in Alto, Texas with Dr. Chris Pulliam officiating.
